Leslie Forstadt, Ph.D., is the Child and Family Development Specialist for the University of Maine Cooperative Extension. Her research interests include at-risk families, parenting education, and attribution. She earned her doctorate at the University of Iowa in Educational Psychology, where she held a research assistantship at the Belin-Blank Center. She is currently a consultant with the Belin-Blank Center, assisting the Institute for Research and Policy on Acceleration (IRPA) with continued research on the validation of the Iowa Acceleration Scale.
